Tis the season to be jolly..funny, can't seem to rock that out right now.

Christmas is round the corner and I am ill prepared. Can't seem to get into the groove and wonder if it is the weather (balmy not blustery) or if I have some suppression of the spirit from 9-11.

Thinking about decorating my office door tomorrow to get into the swing of it and maybe bring a smile or two to someone else.

Did manage to get gifts off to Germany and Florida. If our girls had been bad we would just have to look for bags of coal....unfortunately, they are awesome so we must get on the stick! Have found Kate a drafting desk for her art work. For Chris, a voice recorder and journal for her to work on her music and lyrics. Then there is Les....good Lord, no clues there!

Won't be shopping Saturday as I am going to Toys for Tots. Nice philosophy for an event. But then we all plan to blow off work after the management Christmas lunch on Friday...maybe that will put me in the mood for much Christmas joy (and shopping).

Would dearly love to be rid of the dread Unevent virus. Must have got it there and it may be the modern version of the plague. Certainly does not look like it is going away.

Tonight, nothing but rest and West Wing...
