Back at work today after the migraine of the year yesterday.

Got things settled and caught up a bit before the EoY luncheon. Not too many people realize this but I HATE to stand up in front of people. The only thing worse is to stand there while someone compliments you. The only thing worse than that is when your two bosses cry while they do it.

It was sweet to be appreciated but I wish they knew that sometimes the public part is painful.

Then we toured the new building which is just shy of finished. Mostly beautiful (except for the extremely odd carpet choices in the front hall). Got to see our new office. Has a windown which only one of us will see from our desks (the one who will have to sit with their back to the door).

It finally is real. The place is so big, we got lost when we went to see my office. We laughed calling out "Marco" ... "Polo" until we found the group.

Sad thing is I have to TOUR people. Not a good sign.

Kate is home for Fall break, a bonus we did not know we would get. Conveniently, we are not even traveling this weekend.

Us four again...awesome.
