Last night we were planning to go out to dinner but arrived home to tablecloth, china, crystal and candles....yes, anniversary at home and I think all the better because there was no hustle and bustle to meet a reservation.

As we talked last night we realized we were both pretty tired almost weary. We love the SCA and enjoy the travel but lately we have been somewhere 3 of the 4 weekends and that may not lighten up.

So, we are looking forward to at least Christmas and New Years weekends at home.

Christmas cards have at least made it on to the desk for addressing. Likely I will address on the way to CM Investiture and back.

Going shopping tonight instead of sewing. The girls are getting one big gift and a stocking full of assorted gift cards.

Les only wants soccer tapes so we are looking for something else (suggestions welcome in guest book but he is not much of a gadget geek unless it is for the kitchen).

Les asked what Santa should bring me and we laughed when I said "luggage and gas cards."

Christmas kind of snuck up on me this year.
