Well prom is done...

Kate was gorgeous.

We actually tamed down her makeup because the stylist had "bronzed" her to the point her face and shoulders were mismatched.

Before we knew it Elliot was there. His first words were, "I don't think I have ever seen you in makeup." He then presented her with a bouquet of roses and also a corsage. She said in the car he kept looking at her and telling her she looked "really pretty."

His dad drove them as it turns out he cannot drive after 8pm. So, that was my last worry rectified. Sushi dinner (her favorite) then dancing til her feet hurt.

After prom went well. They stayed up all night laughing and talking and noshing food. We took down Kate's hair into a ponytail of braids and so they took her hair extensions and tried them on one or two of the guys.

We are all safely home now...exhausted but happy.
