The cap and gown fit perfectly even if it looked like it was sized for a child. The gown is longer than her dress. Funny, she and her friends had no idea what the scrap of white fabric was that "only the girls got." You know it is traditional when your mom has to explain it is a collar and then demonstrate it so you really get it.
Les and I both had green graduation gowns...the odd thing to both of us was that her tassel is green and silver (both of ours were green and gold). The things that stand out in your mind.
Well, today is ACLS again. Drama yesterday over not enough instructors. My office mate never preps anything ahead and then panics. She spent the afternoon worrying about it and calling but did not bother to try to also cover the May class.
So, today I teach with a massive headache. The pulsing kind that makes you have to walk gently and speak in a whisper. A little prayer is welcome.
